Closets are a girls best friend!

This is my daughter's closet before, (Yikes) it usually has white doors, however I took them off to organize it all up and  now decided to keep the off. (notice my youngest playing in the corner she thought it was the greatest thing ever!)

Here is the organized version much nicer! I used wrapping paper for the background to help spice it up, then I have ALL her leggings, and dance clothes in the two pink bins that I found in the Target dollar aisle.

My awesome husband won the St. Louis Business Journals  30 under 30 award! Out of 200 applicants 30 individuals are chosen based on what they have accomplished thus far in their career. I am pretty proud of my man! If your local hospital is looking for a new CEO well.... just sayin!

And he is lookin' might fine if I do say so myself ;)

Well after a very productive weekend of cleaning, crafting, and blogging, I think I finally got the whole blogging thing down for the most part ;) I also took Lillybug to buy school supplies today! She is starting kindergarten in about 4 weeks ahhh I can't believe my little girl is going to be in big girl school!

 Found all of these cute garden decoration at Micheal's for 60% off!!

They all got to decorate their own birdhouses with glitter, stickers, and foam cutouts. The birdhouses were also found at Michael's for $1 a piece.

Each Fairy guest got a tutu and wings to wear they loved it!

Powder Room Makeover

Powder Room Makeover!

I had searched all over for a picture of what it looked like before but was unsuccessful :( so with that I will just have to describe it instead, it had dark purple walls with tan accents. It was nice but, I was inspired to change it up shabby chic style from the little white table that I found at the flea market for a steal!

DIY Growth Chart Ruler

DIY Growth Ruler! Perfect for keeping track of your little one's as they grow!

First I purchased a piece of 1x8x6 wood at lowes for about $5.67 and stained it( Stain used pictured below). Next, after it had dried overnight I used a measuring tape and made a tiny marks  at every inch with a pencil. To make it look like a authentic ruler I had the lines be different sizes. I then went over the lines with a paint pen that I found at Wal-Mart for $1.97

I had attempted to paint the numbers on but, I was not to fond of them so I made a trip back to the store and found these at Wal-Mart for $6.97 they just stick right on and seemed to be the perfect size! I bought a nail in alligator picture frame hook and voila!
